I have just put in a general search to hire a car in Spain for 1 week in January for a person aged 60 years old, and the prices are absolutely Exceptional. If anybody would like to have the opportunity of Promoting their Business or Entertainment etc the costs are as follows:
1 Area 4 euros per month
A Choice of any Costa ie All areas in the Costa Blanca 8 euros per month.
Ditto for Costa Del Sol 8 euros per month etc.
To have your Banner in Every Single Area (Complete) Only 25 euros per month.
Obviously there are limited Spaces for anyone wishing to have a Banner !!
unfortunately,you will see Gold Car stickers on hire cars,only a couple of companies put stickers on cars now,as it is an invitation to thieves,it tells them you have just left the airport so all your luggage etc. is on board.Best advise is to take the sticker off before leaving the airport
Goonerpeter - I cannot really answer your questions as we personally have never used the company. They seem to be very good, but it is not until you get to the end of all these companies that you find these things out. All I can say is that the prices to actually hire a car are extremely cheap.

thanks for the info,sounds a good deal,just wonder if there are any catches,like insurance and excess,,
I have been hireing for a few years now since I took my car back to the UK, I found Gold Car to be the cheapest,see a lot of their stickers on the hire cars on and around the 332. I made the mistake of paying for the excess online in the UK,,,,when arriving at Alicante I was offered the excess at half of the UK price,so would always pay the excess at the airport,, also CDW Collision Damage Waver,varies so much,,and I always ask if the insurance they offer covers me for personal injury as I dont think many do,,just damage to the car,,might be worth asking them before hireing,, all the best,,happy christmas.
